This post is dedicated to every teenager and parent searching for purpose or seeking to clear their minds. Whether you've already discovered your purpose and are on the right track, or if you know a teen facing challenges, this message is for you.

I felt compelled to share this after receiving valuable advice from a mentor about helping troubled youth. He described an experience with his teenage nephew, who consistently found trouble in the fast-paced, overwhelming environment of the inner city, where the importance of nature is often overlooked. To address this, he took his nephew on a weekend trip to the mountains. There they spent time together and went hiking. Half way through the first hike his nephew mentioned how the hike was boring. His response was in so many words was, "If you think this is boring then think about people locked up behind bars who sit in cells most of their day. At least out here you are free to your thoughts and free to move down whatever path you choose." On the second day of the hike his nephew stated that, "This is actually kind of peaceful and I was really able to clear mind a little."

In short, this story represents the idea that sometimes it's beneficial to step away from the familiar. Taking someone out of their routine for just a few days can really impact their perspective and, possibly, their life outcomes. There are most likely a few locations geared towards reconnecting with nature near your residence. Trust that headed down the wrong path early in life can slow down your ability to grow wealth sooner in life. Embrace a connection with nature from an early age, think about the decisions you make and stay focus on your purpose.
